"Terrorism" In America

The anti-government suicide attacks on the Pentagon and IRS must be nearly impossible to predict, perhaps even to comprehend, except that they are coming from that strange place where the right and left extremes meet at the place of violence.

Timothy McVey and Ted Kazinsky- how does one make the connection between these individuals politically? Certain labels come to mind: lunatic fringe, anti-NWO, anti-establishment. Is the government dealing with an attack from the right or the left? It seems to be coming from the nebulous world of "Libertarianism", gun rights, "freedom", 9/11 "truth", Alex Jones, Ron Paul supporters, and Libertarian supporters of Sarah Palin. But labels don't suffice when trying to actually sort out the reasons and effects.

In the end, it seems these people all had a personal trip they were on, and it made them all feel more convinced of the rightness of their own motivations thinking there were mobs of people who felt the same way or might be inspired by their actions. There must be a different word for this than the abused word "Terrorist". Terrorists are the friend of any government, because rather than inspiring the masses to rise up, they usually just justify a self-empowerment of the government, which may crack down, but to the terrorists a crack-down is more evidence of the government's corruption. Violence makes the blob of hatred stronger. Non-violence wins in the end for everyone.

  2. We must have the strength to do these horrible senseless things! Like the lover who confronts his zombie infected girlfriend in a b-horror film:"Its not Tina anymore, Billy, you're gonna have to shoot her in the face." It's hard to get your average person to destroy their neighbors life unless you have a good made up reason.

Every society of humans from the earliest of tribes to the greatest of civilisations have needed these "enemys living amongst us", that "look like you and me" to dehumanize and root out so everyone feels like there is some progress being done in the way of "cleaning up" and taking vengeance for whatever the most popular gripe is. This is human behavior at its most dangerous. In serial killers they call this anger displacement and sublimation, in civilizations we call it "our only choice for survival" and then later "a horrible, ignorant era in the history of man" when that reasoning dries up.

Witches were (and still are in all of the tribal communities of the world)The ugliest or the most beautiful women, the handicapped or the frighteningly strong, the mentally retarded or the uncomfortably gifted. Who ever is a burden or whoever is making everyone else look bad. Witches, jews, then communist jews, then just communists, then drug addicts, now terrorists. Race went out, and secret societies of child abusing Satanists came back in, then race came back again with terrorism but in the redscare era way,as in, being jewish didn't help your case, but one could find communists in every walk of life, behind every corner, as with "terrorists" today.

With the enormous monster of an intelligence community that has been growing in scale and ridiculously detailed scope since WWII, are we honestly expected to believe that the government suffers from the same delusions as these madmen you mentioned? That there are hordes of like minded others, possibly willing to give up their lives and hurt or kill hundreds of people? Where are they? If their numbers are great as to make a threat to national security wouldn't someone you know have meet ONE.

I spent years surrounded by left wing extremists and what I saw was a bunch of bleeding heart college age girls and the boys who were trying to impress them. My Aunt was married to an arab guy and lived in the middle east and never meet anyone who was interested in "terror".

I don't think the grand inquisitor believed his own dogma either. He just needed something that would give the people the "strength" to do these unconscionable things, to participate in this strange human ritual. During the inquisition jews were said to be malign for their refusal to recognize christ as the son of god, like terrorists, they had beliefs that just made them incompatible with right thinking people. It couldn't be helped, you understand. Then, if that wasn't enough, it was also said that their "treacherous, poisoning ways" were in their very nature, and because of this it was not they that sinned but the good christians that allowed them in their midst. This reminds me of the "crack attack" or the widespread satanic cult underground that was raising children for human sacrifice and "ritually" sexually abusing them in basements across america in the eighties. If we lived in the world these people are telling us we live in we'd all be Aids infected, drug addicted, sexual predators with bombs in our closets and "anti-freedom" messages on our tongues! Oh, excuse me, that's not "us" they're talking about...it's "them".
